Job Description

GDH Consulting is actively seeking a well-qualified Wireless Engineer for an immediately available opportunity with our direct client in Houston, TX.  This position is 100% on-site, and all qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


•     Serves as adviser to the sales force, customers and potential customers regarding the resolution of technical, scientific or engineering issues that affect the sales, installation and utilization of organization products and or services.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

•        Recommends standards and policies

•        Assesses the severity of newly discovered security vulnerabilities

•        Assesses the impact and supportability of standard solutions on the managed environment

•        Helps to ensure that the environment complies with Customer information security requirements

•        Develops configurations for new and existing devices and helps to ensure that supporting documentation reflects the full post-implementation configuration

•        Assesses technical deployment and operational requirements and develops a detailed implementation solution for complex environments

•        Designs, implements, and supports all technologies related to the agreement

•        Provides incident support – Level 3 support where required

•        Provides lead engineer and technical support for data IMACs/projects

•        Provides on-going technical analysis and approval of data mass adds and changes and complex projects, to help ensure that disaster recovery is being cared for, security requirements are met, and hardware and network compatibility is attained

Job Contribution:

•        Senior level technical expertise. Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on Service Provider technologies.
