Job Title: Physical Inventory Consultant

Job Description: An immediate need in our US Public Sector group for a Physical Inventory Consultant. Maintain physical inventory schedule as outlined in the client contract. Maintain open partnership with the internal teams to allow for best practices and processes to result in the accurate data for reporting/research/updating.
Qualifications: - Technical: o Ability to identify and recognize various IT Network assets and their sub-components. This includes distinguish manufacturers, models, serial numbers and various attributes. o Exposure to raised floor environments and Intermediate Distribute Frames (IDFs) o Ability to utilize various Microsoft Office packages and Barcode Scanners/Printers o Ability to follow written instructions, check sheets and hands-on demonstrations provided by the appropriate leadership. - Physical: o Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds (technicians will be required to move desktops, laptops, monitors, and printers). o Ability to bend; reach; and crawl around/over/under desks, filing cabinets, etc. o Ability to walk an average of a mile per day, as some bases do not allow transportation in restricted areas, and others have large buildings requiring extensive walking. o Ability to be on your feet for 6-8 hours per day. - Communication: o Ability to work within a team as well as independently o Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English both orally and in writing. o Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions. o Ability to take notes. o Ability to read and follow simple driving directions. o Ability to report any and all issues to the appropriate leadership. o Ability to receive email at a corporate/work email address. o Ability to record data accurately and neatly on forms that will be provided by the appropriate leadership. - Administrative: o Ability to work either 1st shift or extended hours. o Ability to travel (which could be multipe weeks at a time) - 90%. o Ability to travel to sites in timely manner to meet the schedule assignment. o Ability to be on time - timeliness. o Ability to enter time in corporate system. o Ability to follow all corporate travel and expense guidelines.
