Job Description


As a Quality Assurance Consultant you will be part of a team developing and supporting our Federal clients. You will play a critical role in delivering high quality, defect-free software. As a member of our service delivery team you will be responsible for understanding requirements, technical solution design, development, testing and implementation of technical solutions.

• Lead agile team members to develop high quality code and software applications
• Lead development, testing, and debugging code and software applications of a high complexity
• Lead developers in troubleshooting and resolving defects in production code and software applications
• Collaborate with agile team to problem-solve for projects and clients
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, including leading large teams
• Ability to work with and mentor Jr and Mid developers as needed
• Ability to develop consulting skills

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 6 to 8 years of work experience as a Software Developer.
• Agile Certification or Training or is a plus, but not required

• Experience with technologies such as Selenium WebDriver, Java, Putty, JUnit, Zephyr; SQL Developer and development tools such as Eclipse
• Experience developing software in Java
• Demonstrated ability to create Selenium test framework (for front and backend test scenarios), and to test backend APIs and web services
• Experience working with and supporting Agile development team
• Expert level knowledge and experience in SQL, Performance, Load, Regression, and Smoke testing
• Experience designing and writing automated tests
• Experience with web frontend application technologies including HTML, XHTML and Dynamic HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX, Web 2.0
• Experience using command line interface to check log files, utilizing Unix/Linux
• Experience with defect tracking systems

• With strong verbal and written communications. Self-managing and team player, work efficiently with little supervision, and willingness to learn/utilize new technologies and process.
