We are seeking a qualified individual with experience recruiting drivers for the trucking industry. This position is based at our Corporate HQ in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will have experience sourcing, screening, interviewing and placing high-quality candidates while using the companys Applicant Tracking System. You will be developing and implementing sourcing strategies and innovative recruitment methodologies to identify qualified candidates based on business needs. Participating in projects as needed to improve the overall productivity of sourcing and hiring efforts. Working as part of a high performing team and collaborating with Field HR Managers, Hiring Manager and Business Leaders.
Qualifications:
• Recruitment experience with focus on Drivers/Trucking Industry (2-4 years)
• Have a proven track record of working within a safety first environment.
• Transportation industry knowledge and understanding of DOT/CSA guidelines
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize work load and be self-directed
• Ideal candidate will possess a can do attitude with a will do work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment where multi-tasking is essential
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop potential driver leads using cold calling, e-mail, internet recruiting sources, recruiting events, trade-shows, etc.
• Maintain communication with potential candidates throughout the recruiting process.
• Develop and maintain job listings and social media accounts.
• The recruiter is expected to anticipate the evolving needs of the organization, create and build relationships, identify qualified prospects.
• Ability to come up with new recruiting/advertising tactics.
• Other projects as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
• Driver recruiting experience is a must.
• Knowledge and experience of DOT regulations and transportation industry.
• HR background is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented.
• Excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Excellent communication (both written and oral), interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to work within a team setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
