Senior Financial Analyst II

This person will be responsible for:

1. Responsible for accurate and timely monthly management reporting including monthly financials and functional expense reporting. Conducts comprehensive financial analyses and uses results to provide input to upper management.

2. Perform ad-hoc business analysis and preparation of materials in support of R&D Leadership.

3. Process improvement. Develop more automated template/dashboard, supports the FP&A group in development and maintenance of financial reports. Provides input in the continual improvement and support of budgeting software and database structure. Executes and distributes monthly management reports.

4. Month end-close activity involving accruals and other journal entries. Responsible for Annual Plan (Budget) and Latest Estimate (LE) Processes: Proactive involvement in the budgeting and planning process for capital spend, headcount and OPEX planning, and for implementing appropriate review processes. Collaborates with other FP&A functions to ensure alignment of information, and completeness and timeliness of submissions.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a financial planning and analysis role and a BA or BS degree. MBA is a plus.
- Familiar with financial software including Oracle OBIEE, Hyperion Smartview, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and database structures is required.
- Tableau experience is highly recommended
- Experience with project reporting, operational accounting and reporting is required. Strong organizational and analytical skills are a must. Interpersonal(team player/ability to work cross-functionally) Able to work in a deadline driven and multi-task environment. Experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals industry a plus, but not required. Experience in multi-national organization a plus.
