Cisco ACI increases business agility and lowers TCOby automating IT tasks, enhancing security, and increasing operational efficiency.Preferred Location: Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina.Experience & Knowledge*Familiarity with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service managementframework, foundational certification preferred.*Knowledgeable in IP internetworking, LAN Switching, Routing, WAN protocols, IP Routing protocols(IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IS-IS, STP, Multicast).*Familiarity with core Cisco products and services (Routing & switching platforms), especially Nexus9000.*Intermediate experience with overlay technologies, i.e. VxLAN (MP-BGP EVPN)*Foundational understanding of virtual networking, i.e. VMWare, DVS, Microsoft SCVMM.*Foundational proficiency in scripting and programming, i.e. Python, Bash*Foundational proficiency in Unix/Linux*Experience with technical support assistance functions on problem resolution in support ofcustomers under the direction of Service Delivery resources or other Consulting Engineers (CEs) inconformance to service delivery standards.*Knowledgeable with or ability to quickly master the Customer Experience tools for effectiveexecution of BCS delivery.*Knowledgeable in network design, network management, network availability & capacity planning.*Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) required and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert(CCIE) R&S Written preferred.*Intermediate level inter-networking troubleshooting in a medium-to-large-scale networkenvironment.*Ideal candidate has 4+ years of related corporate experience.Educational & Preferred Background*Typically requires BS in Computer Science or equivalent work plus 2-4 years of relevant workexperience.*Understanding and operational experience with a routed and switched data network.*Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets andaudience sizes.*Strong business acumen and customer presence; including strong consulting and communicationskills.*Knowledgeable of Customer Experience Program model deliverables and expectations.*Strong understanding of customer network infrastructure business goals and objectives and applythis knowledge to influence customer and Cisco success.*Strong understanding of the customer Change Management process and positive or negativeimpact towards achieving desired goals.*Strong understanding of customer overarching Governance, Standards, Policies and Practices.*Strong understanding of the customer formal/informal culture.*Strong time management skills.
