Job Description

Participate as a senior member of the application development team providing systems analysis responsibilities. Plans, conducts, directs and approves the analysis of business and/or operational problems to be solved with automated systems/applications. Partners with users, customers and/or other analysts to identify, evaluate and develop applications and procedures/scripts that test the application to ensure they meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, functional and acceptance testing with strict adherence to the SDLC. Sets standards while designing integrated and reusable solutions.
Responsible for operational and production support for applications with strict adherence to customer SLAs.
Ability to take direction from senior members; Participate in QA, application and peer code reviews. Approve scope, business and reporting requirements.
Whenever applicable, work with assigned project manager to assist him/her on project planning and status reporting. Identify and communicate any appropriate project risks through appropriate channels.
Track time on projects accurately and promptly. Report weekly status to next level supervisor. Demonstrate flexibility in meeting important customer deliverables.
Understand business and operational requirements for system support and translate them into appropriate systems/application design needs.
Education and Training
Required - 4-year College Degree or Foreign equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Desired - Advanced Degree: Masters or foreign equivalent in Computer science or equivalent experience.

Business Experience
3 - 5 years in systems analysis of complex database systems.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

• 5 + years of business requirements management and transcribing requirements into system specifications.
• 3 - 5 years experience with designing and building system solutions and business applications.
• 3 - 5 years with Use Case methodology concepts
• 1 - 3 years of relational database concepts and SQL.
• Familiarity with reading Entity Relationships Diagrams.
• Understanding of data analysis and modeling concepts.
• Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process for developing business software solutions.
• Exposure to UML methodology
• Understanding of the concept software application configuration and setup

Additionally Required
• Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
• Must be a detail oriented and have analytical approach to solving business problems
• Relationship management with customer management and operation teams
• Ability to conduct customer meetings in order to understand business needs
• Conduct sessions with various groups resulting in clear system requirement needs
• Exercise good judgment within defined standards and guidelines in ambiguous situations.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a medium and large team environment, multi-task to meet critical deliverable dates and strive for results.
• Working knowledge of MS Windows Office Product Suite (MS-Project, MS-Visio, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word).

• Call Center business Operations and Healthcare background a plus.
• Experience utilizing Use Case Methodology and/or other CASE tools.
• Familiar with system configuration concepts
• Familiarity with rules and workflow engine (i.e. iLog) a plus.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Suite (JIRA / Confluence / Bamboo)
