Administrator, Database Senior - (EFMS Enhancements) - Herndon, VA

Public Trust Clearance
The client seeks an individual to provide on-going maintenance and support of technical monitory systems including resolutions to bug reports, monitoring and verification of the health of the application and its various components. Additionally this resource will be working with team members to define automation requirements, test new automation enhancements, and maintain automation code. NOTE: Client must be onsite in Herndon VA. No remote work.

Required Skills:
• 5+ years experience in server hardware configuration, network configuration and troubleshooting, virtual server configuration.
• Experience with WebLogic and WebSphere application servers.
• Experience with Control-M and Batch Job deployment.
• Create test models for SIT testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data.
• Develop, update and maintain quality testing standards and procedures
• Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environment(s)
• Proven ability to consult with business end users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives
• Excellent communication skills: expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections
• Proven ability to write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures
• Working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts
• Familiarity with Formal Change Management Processes (Federal Governement)
• Proficient experience in using ServiceNow as the ticketing/tracking/collaboration tool
• 5-7 years experience in Windows Administration (File/Print, AD/DNS, IIS Servers, Microsoft Cluster, etc.) with scripting and PowerShell knowledge.
• 3-5 years experience in VMWare, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure,
• Security and Database Administration background a plus.
• MS Office proficiency. Visio experience is a plus.
• Customer service skills to troubleshoot remote users over the phone; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Create and update documentation, diagrams and charts
• Ability to create technical documentation for user groups. Preferred Skills:
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar computer or engineering field, or equivalent experience and/or professional certification
• Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with Niagara AX and Tridium
• Ability to participate in customer status meetings as scheduled
• Effective leadership to direct the work of others and judgment to plan and accomplish goal
• Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks and displaying a wide degree of creativity and latitude
