Application Integrator - Public Trust Clearance

This is a Remote Customer Facing senior level e-commerce operations support position located in a web hosting co-location production environment. The Windows/Webfocus/WebSphere system administrator will be responsible for providing operational support at 3 different data centers, with 5 different environments. The system administrator will provide technical support in a production environment, and have thorough knowledge of the Windows, Webfocus, Tomcat, IIS, OHS, WebSphere, and IBM HTTP Server. The system administrator will perform complex operational tasks that include support of various types of applications used in a web infrastructure, analysis of the root cause of any problem issues, resolution of any application problems, and escalation of any irresolvable issues to the vendor as necessary. On-call and weekend work is expected, in support of a 24x7x365 environment. Some travel will be required.
Experience Required:
• Need a resource fully knowledgeable with WebFocus software running on Windows.
• An extensive background check and clearance is required
• Troubleshooting and maintaining PERL scripts on windows.
• Application is webserver extensive. It spans IIS, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server, and Tomcat.
• Must have experience with installing and configuring custom applications on windows based operating system with an advanced knowledge of task manager.
• Must be able to provide installation, optimization, and troubleshooting support for Webfocus, IIS, Tomcat, IHS, OHS
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Web infrastructure build and deployment experience
• Working knowledge of production Web hosting environments
• Working knowledge of VMware
• Strong knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS protocols
• Remedy (Action Request) Trouble Ticketing
• Monitoring software (BMC Patrol, Big Brother, etc.)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of Internet protocols, e.g., DNS, LDAP, Telnet, SMTP, SNMP , and FTP
• Experience in developing documentation such as procedures and work instructions
• Troubleshooting
• Customer service
• Qualified applicants will hold a Bachelor's degree in a related area and have at least 4 years of experience in the field
• Assist with daily Windows Infrastructure (VMs on VMware ESXi Sever) maintenance and support.
• Providing trouble-shooting, maintenance, monitoring resource utilization, and ensuring appropriate capacity plans are in place and utilized.
• Creates technical documentation.
• Coordinates activities with client staff and customer support personnel assigned to a specific project.
• Participation in client meetings
• Contractor must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and nights
• Responsible for sharing 24 x 7 on call rotation duties with other team members



• WebSphere Knowledge is a bonus Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Minimum of 12 years Windows server experience preferably in supporting financial, large clients
• Experience in installing, clustering, and doing performance tuning and troubleshooting for applications servers on Windows server and RHEL.
• 5 years of Webfocus architecture experience including design, administration, configuration and integration.
• Experience in integrating and deploying applications on WebSphere in a shared hosting environment
• Java and J2EE (5 years)
• Understanding of service-level agreements.
• Technical knowledge of distributed systems, shared infrastructure, Web-based applications.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
• Technical knowledge and experience in Windows Server 2008/R2, Windows Server 2012
