USPS-Business Analyst V, Secret w/SSBI or Top Secret Clearance|

The successful candidate will participate in a team environment supporting a U.S. Government contract that provides personnel security management to DOD. The position involves the creation of new applications as well as modifications to existing applications. • Validate implemented systems and processes and support training activities
• Contribute recommendations and problem solving for projects and clients
• Perform medium to complex analysis, system development activities. Combine processes with technology to help our projects and clients achieve high performance
• Develop functional skills and subject matter expertise
• Attend/lead meeting with business stakeholders and clients
• Provide writing assignment support for business development activities as directed
• Coach and guide staff as appropriate

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education
• 6-9 years of relevant work experience
• Agile Certification or Training is a plus

• Strong analytical, communication skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of systems development and input/output and process modeling
• Experience working with and leading Agile development team and DevOps environments
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• General understanding with technologies such as Selenium WebDriver, Java, Putty, JUnit, Zephyr; SQL Developer and development tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
• Hands on knowledge in writing low to complex SQL for data analysis.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux and other system tools preferred, but not a requirement
• Proven ability to quickly learn and new technologies and developing subject matter expertise.
• Proficient in Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project and SharePoint.
• Experience supporting testing applications and defect tracking and closure.

• With strong verbal and written communications. Self-managing and team player, work efficiently with little supervision, and willingness to learn/utilize new technologies and process.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense personnel security issues is a plus

Candidate to be local to DC, MD, VA and able to Travel to Tyson's corner, VA first few weeks and occasionally afterwards
