Job Description

GDH Consulting is currently looking for an IT Help Desk Specialist.  This position will primarily focus on answering incoming support calls, emails and voicemails. 

In this role you will be responsible for the technical support of:

Microsoft Office suite

Web Browser add-ins and issues

Mobile devices

You will also be responsible for:


•        Answering emails and voicemails for support


•        Using remote tools to connect to a client machine and troubleshoot


•        Thorough documentation of all work done within the ticketing system


•        Providing excellent communication skills (written and verbally)


•        Providing exceptional customer service


•        Virus and malware removal


•        Installing software via SCCM

All of these tasks require:


•        2 years’ experience on a Service Desk or Desk Top Services


•        Configuring mobile devices (iOS, Android, etc.)


•        Excellent Troubleshooting Ability


•        Windows 7 and Windows 8 Knowledge


•        Office 2010 and 2013 experience, Office 365 is a plus


•        Some Technical Writing ability for knowledge base article creation


•        Familiarity with Active Directory – change password, unlock accounts, group membership


•        Familiarity with SCCM – Installing packages, verification
